Mohajir Times
According to Mohajir Times, quoting local media, five Afghan nationals were trying to illegally enter Iraq from the border of Mehran. They met a landmine left over from the Iran-Iraq war and had an accident on the road. In this incident, one person was killed about four other were seriously injured.
In the supplementary report of the CEO of the Red Crescent Society of Ilam Province, Iran, it is stated that the explosion of a landmine left over from the Iran-Iraq war, near Bahram Abad Mehran checkpoint, left four injured and one dead. However, two operational teams of Mehran Red Crescent Society, emergency forces, border guard, and police command of district were immediately dispatched to investigate the incident and provide relief to the site.
But Iran's border agencies have not said anything about the purpose of these people's illegal journey to Iraq. Since the Taliban group came to power in Afghanistan, the majority of the citizens of this country have started illegal immigration to neighboring and European countries due to poverty, lack of security and crisis in Afghanistan. #mohajirtimes
