According to Mohajir Times, quoted by Mashregh News, On the evening of Friday, January 5, 2024, the report the death of a young girl in a hospital in the city of Noida in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, was reported to the criminal team. A young girl named Zeenat had just married and went to India to buy a dowry, and Firoz, Zeenat's father, had been traveling to India for business for a year and a half ago. The family of this Iranian businessman, whose daughter was murdered in India, requested that the case be transferred to Tehran and investigated. The body of this girl was also moved to Tehran.
In further investigations by the criminal team, it was found that the young girl was stabbed in the rented house and died after being taken to the hospital. Some of Firoz's relatives also lived in this rented house on the other floor. On the night of the incident, due to family differences, a conflict occurs between Firoz and two other families, and Zeenat gets into the fight to defend her father and prevent this conflict but is injured by a knife. With the murder of the young girl, a case was filed, and the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi also intervened to handle this case. In the investigation conducted by the Indian police, four suspects were arrested in this regard.
The body of the young girl was taken to Tehran last week, and the investigator, Mohammad Mahdi Baraa, ordered the body to be transferred to the forensic pathologist to determine the cause of death and permit the burial. Also, the young girl's family filed a complaint against the perpetrators of this crime and claimed that the murderer was Zeenat's uncle and that the people who participated in the conflict were his relatives. According to the statements of the victim's family, Zeenat's cousin matched her, and he received a negative response. The conflict between the two families starts because of this issue and leads to the murder of the young girl.
Considering that the young girl's family has filed a complaint against Zeenat's uncle and his relatives and friends and blames them for this crime. Therefore, the investigator of the third branch of Tehran's Criminal Prosecutor's Office issued an order for administrative correspondence with the Indian investigation team to send the judicial case of the murder of a young girl to the capital and extradite the accused.
