Masoumeh Mahshid Won the 4th National Book Year Award for the Iranian Youth as an “Immigrant Young”

According to Mohajir Times: The closing ceremony of the 4th National Youth Book of the Year Award with the presence of Ali Ramazani, CEO of Iran Book and Literature House, Reza Majdi, CEO of Book Garden, Maysam Mohadfard, founder and secretary of the 4th National Book of the Year of Youth Award, and a group of managers of book and print publications and writing, held and ended on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Tehran Book Garden.
In this period, the works of young creators-authors under 29 years of age, whose first edition works were published in 2022, have been carefully reviewed by judges. In the 4th edition of the National Youth Book of the Year Award, 27 candidates in three categories of winners, meritorious and special in various fields of humanities and natural sciences from authors, publishers, translators, and young and teenage poets made it to the final stage. In the meantime, Masoumeh Mahshid, one of the chosen ones, as a Young Immigrant, has made her way to the special section of Afghanistan with her poetry collection named “Ayeneh Meraqsad” (The Mirror Dances).
Iran's National Youth Book of the Year Award is a major cultural-literary event to select the best authors, translators, poets, proofreaders-editors and young creators under 29 years old in the field of books, translation and literature. The National Youth Book Award annually judges, selects, and observes the best works of writers, translators, poets, and proofreaders-editors of young people under 29, including a special section called the specially chosen “Immigrant Young”. The goals and ideals of this national award are to honour the young generation and young people fascinated by books, writing, knowledge, and research and also to represent, encourage and persuade them in the field of books, writing, and writing events.
