Horrific Murder of Afghan Teenage Migrant in Chitgar of Tehran
"Two Afghan workers had ill intentions towards my nephew, and I think they might have killed him."
According to Mohajir Times, citing the crime site, the discovery of the body of a 13-year-old boy was reported to the capital's on-duty homicide investigator at 4 PM on January 4, 2025. Consequently, Investigator Mohsen Ekhtiari and detectives arrived at a 20-story under-construction tower in the Chitgar area.
Forensic experts, after initial examinations, announced that the teenage boy had been murdered with five stab wounds and that approximately 24 hours had passed since his death. The boy's uncle, who was present at the scene, said in the investigation: "Six months ago, Murad came to Iran with his father for work and started working in the tower where I was employed. After a while, his father returned to Afghanistan, but Murad stayed with me."
He continued: "I saw Murad the day before his body was discovered, but I had no news of him after the afternoon of January 3. I thought he had gone to another workshop with his friends until today when workers went to the first floor to get cement, they smelled blood from the bathroom and then found the body."
