Abdul Hadi Shirzad, a national member of the Afghanistan Karate Federation, won the silver medal in the sixth round of Iran's international competitions.
Officials in the Afghanistan Karate Federation say that Mr. Shirzad participated in this event on behalf of the country in the section of Afghanistan refugees and migrants residing in Iran. With a negative weight of 70 kilos, besides winning the runner-up position, he defeated his Iranian and Iraqi opponents in the style of "Kyokushin Sakamoto." He won the silver medal in this event.
